Genre; Slice of Life.

        The weather was clear with a bright blue sky, accompanied by the cool and fresh air drifting from the lush trees around the area. But the weather grew fickle; a strong wind swept in, bringing dark, heavy clouds. A light drizzle fell, just enough to dampen the road, but it didn’t last long as the gust soon chased the dark clouds away, taking with it the leaves that had broken free from their stalks.

        Warm sunlight reappeared, illuminating every corner of the land. The sun's warmth gave a slight prickling sensation on the skin of a girl who sat captivated by the book in her hands. Every now and then, she adjusted her glasses that kept sliding down to the tip of her nose, simply because it was a bit too flat.

        The atmosphere in her room was incredibly warm, the kind of place that makes anyone want to stay a little longer. The hum of Jazz and Acoustic music provided a deep sense of relaxation.

        Net net— the sound of a phone rang; it was the timer she had set. She hadn’t realized that five hours had passed while she was lost in her book. "Time flies so fast," she murmured after glancing at the clock on her phone.

            The woman got up from the sofa where she had been reading, walked to her desk, and set down the book she had just finished. She sat back down to check off her to-do list, using her black pen to mark the tasks one by one. The final check was done. She stood up, leaving her desk behind and heading to bed for some well-deserved rest.

     Cuaca cerah dengan langit biru, bersama udara sejuk dan segar yang dihasilkan oleh pepohonan rindang di sekitar wilayah tersebut. Cuaca cenderung tidak menentu, angin kencang menerpa dan membawa awan hitam gelap. Rintik hujan turun sedikit membasahi jalan, namun itu tidak berangsur lama karena angin kencang itu segera membawa pergi awan hitam bersama dengan dedaunan yang terlepas dari tangkainya.

        Cahaya matahari hangat muncul kembali, menyinari segala sudut wilayah. Kehangatan dari matahari memberikan sedikit sensasi cekat-cekit di kulit seorang perempuan yang sedang terpaku dengan buku di tangannya. Sesekali ia membetulkan kacamata yang terus-menerus turun ke ujung hidung, karena hidungnya terlalu pesek.

        Suasana ruangan perempuan itu sangat hangat dan membuat siapa pun betah berlama-lama di sana. Iringan musik Jazz dan Acoustic memberikan sensasi relax.

        Net net— dering ponsel terdengar, itu suara timer yang ia atur. Tidak terasa sudah 5 jam dia terpaku dengan buku di tangannya. “Waktu berlalu sangat cepat,” ujar perempuan itu setelah ia melihat jam pada ponselnya. 

        Perempuan itu beranjak dari sofa tempat ia membaca, menuju meja belajar dan meletakkan buku yang telah selesai ia baca, lalu duduk kembali untuk menceklis to-do list-nya, menggunakan pena hitamnya ia mulai menceklis beberapa poin yang tertulis. Ceklis terakhir telah selesai. Ia pun beranjak, meninggalkan meja belajarnya menuju tempat tidur untuk beristirahat.
